According to the Financial Regulatory Committee resolution no. 224 “To approve Evergreen Investments LLS merger with APU JSC”, dated November 24th, 2017, APU JSC shares allowed to be increased by 321,304,553 regular shares, consequently letting Heineken Asia Pacific Pte.Ltd to own 266,091,981 shares and Mongolian Beverage Investments LLC to own 55,212,572 shares in a closed market transaction respectively.

“Bolor” (Crystal) premium vodka brand presented to the public in commemoration of the first Mongolian man’s flight to space.
Beer brands “Borgio” (Falls, as in water) and “Niislel” were first exported to USSR’s Irkutsk city, other cities and towns along the Baikal-Amur railway.
According to the Mongolian People’s Republic Ministers Council’s 10th resolution dated January 12th, 1973, Vodka and Beer Central Factory was renamed to Ulaanbaatar Vodka and Beer Industrial Complex.
Vodka and beer factory building, equipment and networking system assembly work fully completed, configuration and testing done all with the USSR assistance; thus commissioned for continuous operations by the decree of the Mongolian People’s Republic Government, dated December 31, 1972.
“Niislel” (Capital city) beer brand launched on the market.
In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the People’s revolution, Vodka and beer central factory awarded with the Mongolian People’s Republic Government’s “Honorary Certificate” for successfully fulfilling its duty to properly undertake production and service operations.

By assembling and commissioning the Swedish “ALFA-LAVAL” made machine line with the capacity of filtering and packaging 6,000 bottles of beer per hour, beer quality improved and production quantity increased.

Technical and technological improvements made by installing cooling and pressurized pneumatic equipment at the Brewery, and commissioning a machine line with the capacity to package 3,000 bottles of beer per hour.

By the decision of the Ministry of Economy, due to its flammability nature, Vodka distillery was relocated from the city center to former Bogd Khan’s elite soldiers’ barracks premises on the Tuul riverbank. Production was undertaken until 1973 at this location, which is south of the current APU JSC building.
Regulation “About national treasury taking the special permit for vodka” was approved at the Mongolian People’s Party Central Committee’s 5th Assembly and People’s Republic Government’s 7th Assembly. Thus, first vodka distillery opened its doors in Ulaanbaatar city with 14 employees.
